Exceptional Student Education

The individuals with Disabilities Act specifies that exceptional students will receive accomodations necessary in the general educational classroom for access to the general curriculum. Some accomodations may include time for assignments, tests, copy of notes, individual planner, preferential seating in class, read/repeat directions, and/or consulation for academics. These classes offer the setting that provides for the assignment of students of more than one exceptionality to one teacher per instructional class period or more than one exceptionality to one teacher during the school week. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Levain.
